This is a long-term oxidation reaction. Due to the existence of airbags, rapid opening and closing of valves or pumps can also cause pipe bursts. This is because the opening and closing of valves or pumps changes the flow rate of the medium, causing a large pressure increase in the pipeline. The compressible characteristics of the gas cause stress concentration. When the airbag generates high pressure, the tube bursts. According to the case study of the tube burst, the height of the airbag reaching one-fourth of the tube diameter is the dangerous point of the tube burst, which is the critical point of the airbag. The third is a common accident in pipelines-water hammer. In the long-distance pressure water delivery project, the pipeline is long and the flow rate is large. The flow velocity in the pipe is generally large. There are many undulations along the main pipeline. In the long-distance water delivery project, multiple water column separations often occur and cause the flow to bridge the water hammer. The water column separation is precisely because the liquid water vaporizes when the pressure somewhere in the pipeline drops below the vaporization pressure of the water temperature at that time. However, the gas is not discharged. When the two water columns are re-bridged, due to the violent collision between the two water columns, a high-pressure cut-off cavity with direct water hammer characteristics will be generated to bridge the water hammer. Its hazards may cause the pump room to be flooded, or even unmanned monitoring pipelines have a large amount of long-term leakage, flooding large areas of fertile land.
